Read a note about Kingston from his foster Mom, This is my sweet, but quirky, foster baby Kingston. He was my first rescue dog pulled from the KILL LIST at the Roanoke pound on 8/17/13. He is approximately 3 yrs old and he is a little scared of men, but given a little time, he warms up to them. He is house trained, walks great on a leash, loves to play with tennis balls & stuffed animals, absolutely loves to cuddle and give kisses, loves belly rubs, and he loves all of my female dogs. His "quirkiness" is the fact that he is selective as to which male dogs he likes. He got along great with Ryder but doesn't care too much for my personal dog, Slim. He has come a long way since July, and I think he is ready for his furever family to find him. He doesn't have to be an only child, but we will have to test him with all male dogs. Please share him and help me find him a loving home. Kingston is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to FCHS, which is a NO kill facility. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and pups are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted.
